Miniclip is a global leader in digital games with a mission of ‘unleashing the gamer in everyone’. We develop, publish and distribute highly engaging games to an audience of over 250 million monthly active users across mobile, social and online platforms. We operate in eight countries, with a global workforce of over 900 people across 13 locations.
In February 2015, Miniclip was excited to receive a large majority investment from Tencent, one of the world’s largest technology companies and the world’s largest games publisher. This new chapter in Miniclip’s history strengthens the Company’s position, with Tencent recognising its achievements to date and future potential.
I was learning English since my childhood and have always been interested in games and technology-related stuff. After working as an English tutor for three years, I have realized that I was missing something in my life and started to look for a change. And coincidently, I have received an invite from an affiliate network that was looking for a salesperson. And here it all started.
I have been working at Miniclip, one of the biggest mobile publishers, for six months. I am a Business Developer, who looks for new games, talented studios, helping to increase brand awareness and establish business relations with game developers on different levels.
The biggest challenge I have overcome is being patient. Even still, I constantly keep improving that skill.
I cannot say that I have only one person! That is a mix of character traits of people I have met during my career. Each and everyone made me the person I am now. I try to take the best in others and learn from others’ failures. But I can say that all of my ex-teams were great, and I am still in touch with them. Most of them are my friends!
Nothing personal, just business. Everything happens for a reason. The sun will rise even after the darkest times.
To stay motivated I try to keep planning my life and career goals. I have a notebook with all the plans for a year. Every year I cross out something I have achieved and plan new goals. It gives me the strength and ability to identify my success. I think that you should find something that you love the most and admire it every minute. I am a very goal-oriented person and love timing! I advise you to be patient and believe in yourself.
Motivated, hungry, passionate.
Nowadays, we see significant market changes, Ad-market will become more and more appreciated. When I have joined the mobile space five years ago, I have heard that mobile won’t longer exist, people will come back to PC. But after five years of successful integrations and constant changes, people won’t imagine their lives without mobile phones. The same goes for Ad-Tech, in the next ten years, everyone will be able to mine, withdraw their bitcoins and create NFTs. I strongly believe that the biggest part of companies will unite and create new companies. 2022 is already generous for acquisitions, and I think that is only the beginning.
